220k gate. Ultimate horse event. Lots of upmarket Mums and Daughters. Quiet the first 2 days but grid-locked the last two. World-wide audience on TV. Own radio station. Waiting list for this one, so call now.
Directions:
Just of the M4 near Swindon J18. Head north and follow signs. We are by the village entrance, you can see us from the entrance, look for red banner on the roof. Follow the one way system and come to the back of the marquee and use the track way laid at huge cost….do not go to the front of the marquee. We must leave that as virgin grass for the show
Passes:
No pre-show tickets ask for Festival of Food. Car parks as per colour of ticket, exhibitor carpark at rear of marquee. Restocking either early first thing before 8.30am or evening after 8pm. Caravans let me know, separate park and first come first serve.

NOTE: Thursday and Friday can be relatively quiet but on Saturday some 100k people and their dogs arrive and you get gridlock on the site. Arrive early that day and be prepared to leave after 7.30pm. We open most days 9am except Saturday at 8am…we stay open as long as we trade…. Latest 7pm if the weather is good.

Part of RHS circuit of shows. Really good quality, older audience with houses and money to spend. One of top five shows for sales. Waiting list for this one so call now. No hot food sales.
Directions:
From east head for Worcester and then Malvern. Signposted from North and South on M5. Showground is about halfway along the Malvern Hills at Junct B4208 and B4209. Go to the Yellow Gate and drive through to the Avon Hall on the main road through the showground. We are indoors on this show and your unit is inside the Hall.
Passes:
No special pre-show, just ask for Avon Hall. Carparks as colour of ticket. Restocking before 8.30am and after 6pm. Expect to be open from 8.30am. it’s a very busy show and sales will be higher than many others.

We say:
West Sussex, nice people, horsey show but quality about. A show we enjoy. Sales can be very good. As usual with agricultural shows the gate reflects the population from about 50 miles around, these customers have money to spend. No hot food sales.
Directions:
South of London on the M25 take M23 to Gatwick. Off at Junction 10 to Crawley. Take Cropthorne Way to East Grinstead, turn right onto B2028 to Turners Hill. Follow signs to Ardingly. Take Exhibitors entrance, follow right around outside of showground, through security and then straight ahead to top of showground, corner of Main Street and 19th Avenue, by Main Flower Hall
Passes:
Must use special pre-show, just ask for the Festival of Food (NOT FOODHALL). Carparks as colour of ticket. Restocking by 8.30am and after 6pm. Opening 8.30am to 6 or 7pm depending on trading. Very restricted space arrange your own caravan space. From day before the show £50 deposit system in force, cash or cheque.

Lost it's way after foot and mouth but now getting better all the time as the song says. Malvern/ Gloucester/ Hereford …middle England audience. The Sunday pulls M5 Birmingham people on a day out.

Great for promoting products. A real agricultural event for 4 days with people from all over Scotland. The last 2 days it's Edinburgh and Glasgow folk on a day out . it's just outside Edinburgh by the airport so it's easy to get to. Don’t expect huge sales unless you have a bargain.
Directions:
On the western side of Edinburgh by the airport. You can walk from the airport. Alongside the A8/M8 to Glasgow. Driving from the South follow the ring road signs to RHAS. At main entrance head for West Gate across other side of showground or come in by West Gate and turn right. We are at bottom of avenue T.
Passes:
No special pre-show, just ask for Festival of Food….NOT FOODHALL. Remember they don’t especially like the English. Restocking 7-9 special pass: breakdown, expect a long wait as no vehicles can move before 8pm. Opening 8.30am-7pm. Very restricted on site no vehicles, camping or caravans. Don’t even think about it. Arrange your own site with show direct or nearby site.

Huge numbers and a national event with people from all over the UK. National stock championships but now it's open on Sunday it pulls Warwickshire locals as well from Leamington / Warwick / South Birmingham…. Nice people in the main. Concession fee for hot food sales £150.
Directions:
Just outside Leamington Spa. Off M40 and M42 follow signs for NAC/RASE from A46. Best route off A45 Rugby/Coventry, signs at Ryton to Royal. Go through main gates follow site map to Avenue 5…. New layout this year as the site is being redeveloped.
Passes:
Setup Friday or Saturday. Friday = no passes no deposits. Saturday = £50 deposit to get in the gate. So come in Friday…no hassle. We will be there all the time to keep things secure. Use carpark 4. If you want a vehicle or a caravan on site please pay for it direct £100 for the show. All vehicles are checked and beware the Men in White Coats with Clamps.

Pulls people from across the M62. Great event and a favourite. Quality and pleasant people. Plenty of disposable income. Slightly older audience but lots of ABC1’s. Concession fee for hot food sales 15%.
Directions:
North of Leeds, head into Harrogate off A1 via Wetherby. Past Sainsbury on outskirts to lights and turn left, Hookstone Oval on left in 100yds. . Go to main entrance, head down to Avenue E by Grandstand and main Ring. Nowhere for vans and vehicles so please arrange direct with show caravans etc. Starts early open as soon as possible after 8am and open until 8pm. Fantastically busy with huge crowds. Stand number 611. No vehicles behind the marquee at all. There is no space.
Passes:
No preshow and a breath of fresh air after the Royal Bureacracy.

We say:
The largest agricultural show in the UK. 250k people . An institution. If you want to real a Welsh audience this is the show for you. A proud audience and rightly so. Sales enormous if the price is right. Astonishing numbers, it can help if you can speak Welsh a bit although far from essential.
Directions:
Either up the valleys through Abergavenny, Brecon, Hay and Builth or M5 Worcester, Hereford, Builth on the A44. Follow signs from 20 miles away. Go to main exhibitors entrance and turn right. FOF is at the bottom of avenue B by Gate A. Note: there are 250k Welsh crammed into a valley for 5 days so it goes a bit silly. Roads get gridlocked etc, leave plenty of time, expect delays.
Passes:
Opening 8am to 7pm plus. Deposit £20 to get deliveries in. Get there early the day before it's incredibly crowded. DO NOT GO INTO BUILTH IN THE EVENINGS.
 
 
CLA Game Fair

We say:
Upmarket event and expensive to do but it's been growing each year and is now the largest of it's kind in the UK. Hunting shooting and fishing crowd. 80% of the land is still owned by 10% of the people and that 10% go to this show.
Directions:
The Castle is 6 miles from the A1 at Grantham and 12 miles from Melton Mowbray, Leicester, Nottingham and Stamford are within half an hours drive. Follow the brown heritage signs from the A1, A52, A607 and A46. Signs for exhibitors as you get near.
Passes:
Very little space to rear of marquee so call and arrange caravans if needed. Be advised to get in early, as only one entrance for vehicles to the park. Opening 8am-probably 7pm if the weather is right. Will get busy at the weekend.

The largest 2 days show in the UK . A very different audience and very local as they say. Great atmosphere again a real County Show which works well.

Just off the A47 Norwich Southern Bypass at the A1074 junction Longwater Interchange. The route will be well signposted on all major roads in the area.

2008 will be the fourth year for this Food and Drink Festival. Meetings take place in January to confirm our attendance. Further information will follow.
Directions:
From the north on M6, leave at Junction 15. Continue straight ahead at first roundabout onto the A500 towards Stoke on Trent. In 1 mile take the next slip road to join the A34. At roundabout at bottom of slip road take third exit to continue south on A34. Continue on A34 for five miles and follow signs to Stone town centre.

From the south on M6, leave at Junction 14. Take third exit on roundabout towards Stafford and Stone. At second roundabout turn left onto A34 continue to for four miles to Stone. Follow signs to Stone town centre.

If you're not travelling by motorway, from the east, Stone is easily accessed from the A50 at Meir (near Stoke on Trent ) along the A520.

From Lichfield and Rugeley, the A51 joins the A34 just south of Stone. Follow signs to town centre.

A flower show with a national audience, slightly older and own houses. Coach marketing from as far as Exeter, Carmarthen, Birmingham, Oxford. Really good sales and great atmosphere. You can do better here in 2 days than 4 on some shows.
